Position:  Acquisitions Assistant
Location: Miami, FL
Job Overview:
Zion Equities is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Acquisitions Assistant to join our dynamic team in Miami. The successful candidate will support the acquisitions team in identifying, evaluating, and executing real estate investment opportunities. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a leading real estate investment firm.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the identification and analysis of potential real estate acquisitions.
  • Conduct market research and gather data on potential investment properties.
  • Support the preparation of financial models, investment memos, and due diligence reports.
  • Coordinate and manage documentation related to property acquisitions, including contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
  • Liaise with brokers, sellers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all acquisition activities and transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of acquisition proposals to the senior management team.
  • Monitor and report on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Perform other administrative and support tasks as required by the acquisitions team.
Background Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market research.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with real estate software and financial modeling tools is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of real estate market dynamics and investment principles.
